Don’t get stuck in the whirlpool!’-Courtney Dauwalter
I convinced myself that I wasn’t capable of making it to the finish line, and dropped out at mile 60. Made a lot of mistakes during that race, but the biggest one was getting stuck in a whirlpool of negativity. ‘I was already a wreck just a few hours into my first 100-mile attempt in 2012. Next time in part 2 of this yarn, we will get to yarn with Kev, too. It’s a real honour to speak with Courtney and get to know more about her and how she moves to the beat of her own drum, setting an example for us all to take notice of and a lesson from.
